PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION (PSR)
Congratulations! This past week, every child who had been part of our program last year has been registered for this year, or is participating in a Catholic School program. Thank you to all of our new students and families for joining our program this year. We have assigned passwords and have emailed the textbook information to all our families and are officially beginning our PSR program this week. As previously announced, this first semester will be online, with the families working together, and our catechists monitoring the completed materials. Should there be any questions or concerns, please communicate via the PSR email address or contact our PSR coordinator,Chrissy Lanham. We are hopeful that all will go well, and we will reevaluate the 2nd semester (January-March) for how we will move forward by Thanksgiving. Thank you to our parents who, in the Sacrament of Baptism, are called the first and greatest teachers of their children in the practices of our faith, for serving in that baptismal role. We are very confident that our quality materials will assist in helping our young people continue to grow in the ways of our faith. Special thanks to our catechists for their dedicated gift of ministry to our young people and our parish: Shelley Lamb (kindergarten); Joanna Lukz Gatta (1st & 2nd); Sara Parry (3rd & 4th); Gina Thomas (5th & 6th); John Rovnak (7th & 8th); and Chrissy Lanham (PSR Coordinator). Thank you and God bless you our students, families and catechists.
